Our Review
David and Lyn Crossley purchased their property on the Lake George escarpment in 1998, planting clonally selected pinot noir, pinot gris, cabernet franc and merlot over the following 2 years, their inspiration the pioneering work done by Dr Edgar Riek. The vineyard is on a steep hillside at 800-840m, often snow-covered in winter, but protected from frosts by its slope. The small size of the vineyard facilitates micro-management of the vines throughout the year. The name is Gaelic for ‘quality cross'. -JAMES HALLIDAY
