Our Review
The large De Beaurepaire vineyard was planted by Janet and Richard de Beaurepaire in '98 and is situated on one of the oldest properties west of the Blue Mountains, in Rylstone. An elevation of 600m, coupled with limestone soils and frontage to the Cudgegong River, provides grapes very different from the Mudgee norm (hence they prefer to use the broader Central Ranges GI). The regeneratively farmed vineyard is planted to merlot, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, petit verdot, viognier, chardonnay, semillon and pinot gris. -JAMES HALLIDAY
