River Park

Bill and Chris Murphy established River Park with 6ha each of chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon on the banks of the Lachlan River, on the outskirts of Cowra, in 1994. In a familiar pattern, the vineyard was expanded in the boom days, with wine being sold in bulk to larger producers, but has now returned to its original size, all wine being made and sold under the River Park label. -JAMES HALLIDAY
