James Estate has had an unsettled corporate existence at various times since 1997, but has now straightened the ship under the ownership of Sydney-based businessman Sam Fayad. The vineyard is planted to shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot, cabernet franc, semillon, chardonnay and verdelho. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Our wines are produced and bottled at our Vineyard & Winery situated in the Upper Hunter on our 1560 acre property nestled against the Wollemi National Park.
We specialise in Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and of course Shiraz.
