Our Review
Great Lakes Wines is situated south of the Hastings River region but well north of Newcastle. Robyn Piper and Steve Attkins have 4ha of semillon, chardonnay, verdelho, cabernet sauvignon, shiraz and chambourcin planted, and make the wine onsite with David Hook overseeing proceedings. The cellar door offers light meals and barbecue/picnic facilities. -JAMES HALLIDAY
