Nugan Estate has been in the energetic hands of Matthew Nugan since his mother Michelle Nugan retired in ’13. Wines are made at the family’s Spanish-styled home base in Riverina, the design reflecting the family heritage (in '38, Alfredo and Annelise Nugan fled their home in Alcira, Spain and migrated to Australia). Fruit is sourced from Riverina, King Valley, Coonawarra, Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale. -JAMES HALLIDAY
