Our Review
Bawley Vale Estate sits on 40ha of prime south coast land acquired by Raymond and Loris McLoughlin in 2003. They have planted 0.7ha of cabernet sauvignon, 0.4ha each of verdelho, chardonnay and shiraz, 0.3ha of chambourcin, 0.2ha of arneis, plus small plantings of merlot, along with citrus and olive groves. The wines are sold through local restaurants and bottle shops and (of course) via the cellar door and website. -JAMES HALLIDAY
