Our Review
Jim and Niki Kladis have developed 11ha of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, grenache, verdelho, merlot and muscadelle at their Shoalhaven property, and 4ha of gewurztraminer and cabernet sauvignon in the Hunter Valley. Additional grapes are also sourced from the Adelaide Hills. The inspiration has been the medium-bodied red wines Jim grew up with on the Greek island of Zante. The winery recently had a $1.5 million upgrade to include a conference centre, restaurant and cellar door. Exports to China, Japan, Fiji and Vanuatu. -JAMES HALLIDAY
