The Gledswood Homestead & Winery complex is one of the most historically important properties in Australia, with the collection of buildings dating back to 1810, and the homestead to around 1820. The owners live in the homestead, but the homestead and all its ancillary buildings are devoted to a wide range of tourist activities, supported by the restaurant. -JAMES HALLIDAY
