Winemaker Adam Wadewitz and wine marketer Nicole Roberts bring a wealth of experience gained in many parts of the wine world. They each have their partners (Nikki Wadewitz and Mark Roberts) onboard and also have real-life jobs. In ‘16, Nicole accepted the position of executive officer of the Adelaide Hills Wine Region, having had brand development roles with 3 of the Hills’ leading winemakers, she now heads up marketing and sales at Bird In Hand. Adam carved out a career at the highest imaginable level, aided by becoming joint dux of the Len Evans Tutorial in ‘09. He was senior winemaker at Best’s, where he made the ’12 Jimmy Watson winner; and is now senior winemaker for Shaw + Smith and their associated Tolpuddle Vineyard in Tasmania. -JAMES HALLIDAY
