Our Review
Phil Manser has teamed up with brother Kevin and father Bernie to run the family vineyard. It was established by Tim James, a skilled winemaker with senior winemaking and management roles at Hardys and Wirra Wirra. He planted 4 clones of shiraz randomly throughout the vineyard in '97, a common practice in France. The Mansers acquired the property in '15, Tim remaining an enthusiastic spectator during vintage. They also source fruit from a 65yo vineyard in Blewitt Springs and a third vineyard on the McMurtrie Mile. -JAMES HALLIDAY
