Brave Souls Wine

Brave Souls was established in ’17 as a collaborative project between David Fesq (Fesq & Co.) and Corey Ryan and Simon Cowham of Sons of Eden, with a goal to produce contemporary Barossa wines of value and drinkability. The winemaking was originally pioneered by Julia Weirich (who undertook vintages in NZ, Burgundy, southern and central Italy and South Africa), who’d set her sights on making expressive and playful wines that speak of the Barossa. Julia departed in ’20, and her vision was maintained by Simon and Corey, who are now at the winemaking helm. The wines are named for three men who risked their lives to rescue passengers of the SS Admella when it was shipwrecked off the South Australian coast in 1859. The tales of these 'Brave Souls' are captured within the label artwork by revered artist Bruce Goold. -HALLIDAY TEAM
