Since joining Kellermeister from Wirra Wirra in ‘09, Mark Pearce has successfully worked through challenging times to ensure the survival of the winery and its brands; and upon the retirement of founders Ralph and Val Jones in late ’12, the Pearce family acquired the business. Surrounded by a young, close-knit team, Mark is committed to continuing to build on the legacy that the founders began more than 40 years ago. His winemaking focus is on continuing to preserve Kellermeister’s best wines, while introducing new wines made with the intention of expressing the purity of the provenance of the Barossa.
