Our Review
Established in ’99 by Peter Milhinch and Sharyn Rogers, Seize The Day (formerly Milhinch Wines) is planted to 10ha of shiraz and cabernet sauvignon near Greenock Creek, which flows through the property. At the foot of the vineyard is a restored 1860s German settlers cottage offering luxury accommodation. The winery and surrounding property were sold to Bosotum Winery in 2019 who contract Angus Smibert (of Whistle Post Wines, Coonawarra) to oversee operations. The Seize the Day phrase on the wine labels pays homage to founder Peter Milhinch’s journey through adversity, ‘Carpe Diem – we never know what tomorrow may bring!’ -JAMES HALLIDAY
