Our Review
St Hallett sources all grapes from within the Barossa GI and is synonymous with the region’s icon variety – shiraz. Old Block is the ultra-premium leader of the brand (using grapes from Lyndoch and Eden Valley), supported by Blackwell (Greenock, Ebenezer and Seppeltsfield). The winemaking team continues to explore the geographical, geological and climatic diversity of the Barossa, manifested through individual processing of all vineyards and single-vineyard releases. In '17, St Hallett was acquired by Accolade. -JAMES HALLIDAY
