Our Review
The Thief? is 1 of 2 side projects for the well-known and highly talented Natasha Mooney, who is a winemaker by day for some of SA’s larger wineries. While her other side project, La Bise, focuses on bought-in fruit, The Thief? is produced from Natasha’s own vines, planted to shiraz and cabernet in the '90s. She purchased the Barossa vineyard in ’16 and is in the process of converting it to organic/biodynamic status. The name is a nod to Natasha’s great-great-grandfather John Mooney, who was wrongly accused of stealing a cow. -HALLIDAY TEAM
