Our Review
Woodvale is the personal venture of Kilikanoon founder and winemaker Kevin Mitchell and his wife Kathleen Bourne. Their aim is what Kevin describes as ‘modest, sustainable growth, working with the varieties that Clare does so well: riesling, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, mataro, semillon, pinot gris, and of course, grenache’. Fruit is sourced from their own 2.8ha vineyard as well as from trusted growers in Clare Valley. -JAMES HALLIDAY
