Our Review
Underpinning Sue Bell's winemaking philosophy is the impact of climate change and the need for future classic varieties to be grown in the right regions. She works with a community of growers to showcase a diverse range including shiraz, malbec, barbera, tempranillo, riesling, chardonnay, montepulciano and nero d’Avola. In ’08, Sue and business partner, Andrew Rennie, bought the historic Glen Roy shearing shed, built around 1868 and sitting on 6ha of classic Aussie bush. It is now a winery and cellar door with space to host food, wine and music events. There’s an extensive produce garden, a camping area and glamping, too. It’s all part of her thoughtful plan to reconnect with the land sustainably and with purpose. A must visit for wine lovers. Exports to the UK and Singapore (JF) -JANE FAULKNER
