Casella Family Brands purchased the historic Brand’s Laira from McWilliam’s in Dec '15. Over the years McWilliam’s had moved from 50% to 100% ownership of Brand’s and thereafter it purchased an additional 100ha of vineyards (taking Brand’s to its present 278ha) and had expanded both the size, and the quality, of the winery. -JAMES HALLIDAY
