Aphelion Wine

When you consider the credentials of winemaker Rob Mack and co-founder Louise Rhodes Mack, great art comes to mind. Rob accumulated 2 degrees in accounting and management in ’07, and wine science from CSU in ’16; he is also part-way through his MW studies. He scaled the heights of direct marketing as wine buyer and planner for Laithwaites Wine People and spent the next 18 months as production manager for Direct Wines in McLaren Vale. He has worked with 5 wineries, 4 in McLaren Vale. Rob was voted Young Gun of Wine ’18 and Aphelion won Best Small Producer at the McLaren Vale Wine Show in '19. -JAMES HALLIDAY
