Our Review
This is the venture of Malcolm and Alison Mackinnon. They purchased the Nine Gums Vineyard in '01. It had been planted to shiraz in '95–96. The majority of the grapes are sold, with a lesser portion contract-made for the partners under the Brick Kiln label, which takes its name from the Brick Kiln Bridge adjacent to the vineyard. Exports to the UK, Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore. -JAMES HALLIDAY
