Our Review
Matt Rechner entered the wine industry in '88, spending most of the years since at Tatachilla in McLaren Vale, starting as laboratory technician and finishing as operations manager. Frustrated by the constraints of large winery practice, he decided to strike out on his own in '01. The quality of the wines has been such that he has been able to build a winery and cellar door, the winery facilitating the use of various cutting-edge techniques. -JAMES HALLIDAY
