Our Review
Smidge Wines is owned by Matt Wenk and wife Trish Callaghan. It was for many years an out-of-hours occupation for Matt; his day job was as winemaker for Two Hands Wines. In '13, Matt retired from Two Hands to focus his attention solely on Smidge. Smidge owns a vineyard in Willunga that provides the fruit for all the cabernet sauvignon releases and some of the McLaren Vale shiraz. A new cellar door and winery facility are currently underway and soon to open in late ’24. -JAMES HALLIDAY

The Smidge Wines Cellar Door is now open on the second weekend of every month. Come and meet Matt and Trish, taste the latest vintage and learn how wine is hand made and barrel selected!
