Our Review
Wirra Wirra has established a formidable reputation. The wines are of exemplary character, quality and style; The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon and RSW Shiraz battling each other for supremacy, with The Absconder Grenache one to watch. Long may the battle continue under managing director Matthew Deller MW and the winemaking team, who forge along the path of excellence first trod by the late (and much loved) Greg Trott, the pioneering founder of modern-day Wirra Wirra. Its acquisition of Ashton Hills in '15 added a major string to its top-quality bow; the estate vineyards are certified organic. -JAMES HALLIDAY
