Our Review
Thomas and Sally Ellis are the current generation of the Ellis family, who have owned the Coola grazing property on which the vineyard is now established for over 160 years. They began planting the vineyard in the late '90s with pinot noir, and have since extended the range to include sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, riesling and pinot gris. As the largest vineyard owner in the region, they decided they should have some of the grapes vinified to bring further recognition to the area. -JAMES HALLIDAY
