Our Review
This is the venture of Glyn Jamieson, who also happens to be Professor of Surgery of the University of Adelaide. His interest in wine dates back decades, and in ’94 he commenced the part-time (distance) winemaking degree at CSU: he says that while he never failed an exam, it did take him 11 years to complete the course. A year in France led him to Burgundy, hence the planting of chardonnay, pinot blanc and savagnin on the slopes of Mt Jagged on the Magpies Song Vineyard and pinot noir on the Hawthorns Vineyard. He built a small winery for the first vintage in ’11. -JAMES HALLIDAY
