Anim Wine

The production may be small, but the story of owners Max and Siobhan Marriott is anything but. Max earned a bachelor of viticulture and oenology from Lincoln University in NZ. He then managed vineyards in Central Otago and worked vintages in the Mosel, Oregon and Burgundy. After a few years in Oregon, the pair repatriated to Tasmania. Max is involved with Clarence House and also leases the Tinderbox vineyard, with grapes sourced from both. Anim is named after their children Audrey, Niamh and Imogen. -JAMES HALLIDAY
