Our Review
The Bream Creek Vineyard, overlooking Marion Bay and Maria Island on Tasmania’s East Coast, is one of the island state’s oldest vineyards, planted in ’74. The vineyard, then planted mainly to riesling and cabernet sauvignon, with smaller plantings of pinot noir, chardonnay and gewürztraminer, was purchased in ’90 by renowned Tasmanian vigneron Fred Peacock, legendary for the care he bestows on the vines under his direction. As well as increasing pinot noir plantings and adding sauvignon blanc, Fred was also amongst the first in the southern hemisphere to plant schönburger. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Cellar Door
Information
We’d love to have you visit our new cellar door! Open from 10.30am to 5pm Wednesday to Monday each week, it features spectacular views over our vineyard and out to Marion Bay and Maria Island. Enjoyed locally sourced cheese and meat platters, and perhaps a dozen Tassie Gold oysters, while tasting a range of our wines. Bookings recommended via our website to avoid disappointment.
