Our Review
History does not relate what Nick Glaetzer’s high-profile Barossa Valley winemaker relatives thought of his decision to move to Tasmania in '05, to make cutting-edge cool-climate styles. While his winemaking career began in the Barossa Valley, he reached into scattered parts of the New World and Old World alike, working successively in Languedoc, the Pfaltz, Margaret River, Riverland, Sunraysia, the Hunter Valley and Burgundy. To date, fruit has all been sourced from growers; 2022 will be the first harvest from Nick's new 12ha estate vineyard. The urban winery and cellar door is based in an old ice factory on the outskirts of Hobart. Exports to the US, Canada, the Netherlands and Singapore. -JAMES HALLIDAY
