Dalbosco Wines

The Dalbosco family has been farming in Porepunkah since 1930, and planted the vineyard in '94 on a sloping site with a northerly aspect offering glorious views towards Mt Buffalo, the soil brown to red loam and shale at depth. Originally predominantly pinot noir and chardonnay (for sparkling), it now has a range of varieties including sauvignon blanc, shiraz, prosecco, friulano with small amounts of refosco and vespolina. Mick Dalbosco graduated from CSU in '01 and started producing wines under the Dalbosco label. As the family business grew, Mick handed over the winemaking reins to Jo Marsh in ’14. -JAMES HALLIDAY
