Whitlocks Vineyard

Emily Girdwood and partner Simon Smith moved from Melbourne to the country in 2011 so that their children could enjoy the freedom, space and safety of country life. The property they purchased overlooks Lake Cairn Curran and Mt Tarrengower to the east. The historic township of Maldon is the closest habitation. It just so happened the property had a 1ha vineyard of largely 20yo shiraz, and they cleverly gained the services of Cameron Leith to make the wines. Emily and Simon are in charge of the vineyard, although at times vineyards are in charge of their carers. Good luck! -JAMES HALLIDAY
