Our Review
Trifon Estate has flown under the radar since it was established in '18. Since then, 312ha of vines have been planted to 16 varieties, the lion’s share to shiraz and cabernet (47ha and 42ha, respectively), followed by malbec (38.7ha), chardonnay (23.7ha), sauvignon blanc (18ha), pinot grigio (10.44ha) and merlot (8.10ha), with smaller amounts of petit verdot, durif, tempranillo, sangiovese and riesling, traminer, semillon, marsanne and viognier.

From our 312ha single estate vineyard we grow the following 16 grape varieties: Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Durif, Malbec, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Traminer and Marsanne.
Our grapes are harvested by our state-of-the-art harvester which is fitted with roller sensors that selectively harvest the berries away from their stalks discarding any MOG (matter other than grace). Therefore the grape stems, leaves, or any plant materials are eliminated around 99% allowing us to craft fruit driven wines with less intervention in the winery. It also enables us to pick our grapes in the early hours of the mornings when the grapes are cool and firm. This ensures that the grapes arrive at the winery in pristine condition.
