Drummonds Corrina Vineyard

The Drummond family organically grow 1ha each of pinot noir and sauvignon blanc, and 0.5ha each of cabernet sauvignon and merlot, all established slowly without the aid of irrigation. The viticultural methods are those practised by Phillip Jones, who makes the wines for Drummonds: north-south row orientation, leaf plucking on the east side of the rows, low yields, and all fruit picked by hand. Similarly restrained winemaking methods (no pumping, no filters and low SO2) follow in the winery. -JAMES HALLIDAY
