Our Review
Oliver Rapson (with a background in digital advertising) and Renata Morello (a physiotherapist with a PhD in public health) believed the Macedon Ranges has the best of both worlds: less than an hour’s drive to Melbourne, ideal for pinot and chardonnay and still sparsely settled. The property had 2ha of vines planted in '96: pinot noir and chardonnay. Over time they have extended the pinot noir to 2ha and the chardonnay to 1.2ha, also planting 1ha each of riesling and gamay. Oliver makes the pinot noir and chardonnay, Renata the riesling and gamay. -JAMES HALLIDAY
