Our Review
Geoff Pryor's Studley Park Vineyard is one of Melbourne's best-kept secrets. It is on a bend of the Yarra River barely 4km from the Melbourne CBD, on a 0.5ha block once planted to vines, but for a century used for market gardening, then replanted with cabernet sauvignon. Immediately across the river, is the epicentre of Melbourne's light industrial development, while on the northern and eastern boundaries are suburban residential blocks. -JAMES HALLIDAY
