Our Review
Dalwhinnie was established by Ewan Jones in ’73, near Moonabel in Victoria’s Pyrenees. At 595m elevation, it is the highest vineyard in the region. The wines have tremendous depth of flavour, reflecting the relatively low yielding but well-maintained vineyards. The vineyards are dry-grown and managed organically, but the quality more than compensates. Fogarty Wine Group acquired the property from the Jones family in ’20. -JAMES HALLIDAY
