D'Angelo Estate

In 2001 Benny D'Angelo purchased and planted a 4ha vineyard on a northfacing hillside in Officer, Vic, and began making wines under the D'Angelo Estate Vineyard Label. A cellar door was established in '10 and with increasing popularity has progressed from a small boutique set up to a 300-seat tapas restaurant and cellar door with live music and weddings available. D'Angelo Estate expanded in '16 by building a new state-of-the-art winery just down the road from the estate vineyard. This allowed greater production. The estate vineyards include sauvignon blanc, pinot grigio, chardonnay, viognier, pinot noir and shiraz. Wines are also produced from Heathcote shiraz and Langhorne Creek shiraz and cabernet. -JAMES HALLIDAY
