Our Review
In '08, John and Katie Sprigg passed ownership of their 1300ha wool, meat and grain producing farm to son Ben and wife Louise. However, they kept control of the 6.5ha of sauvignon blanc, riesling, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon and merlot planted in '93. When demand requires, they increase production by purchasing grapes from growers in Frankland River. Riesling remains the centrepiece of the range. -JAMES HALLIDAY
