Our Review
Arlewood Estate was planted in ’99 by the then Xanadu winemaker Jurg Muggli. Garry Gosatti purchased the run-down, close-planted vineyard in ’08. His involvement in its resurrection was hands-on, and the cool site in the south of Margaret River remains his obsession. Garry’s sons Jordan and Adrian now work in the vineyard and Garry drives down every weekend from Perth, clearly believing that the owner’s footsteps make the best fertiliser. -JAMES HALLIDAY
