Our Review
Chris Davies planted the dry-farmed Windows Estate Vineyard (cabernet sauvignon, merlot, malbec, petit verdot, syrah, chenin blanc, chardonnay, semillon and sauvignon blanc) in ’96, at the tender age of 19. A trained viticulturist, he has tended the vines ever since, gaining organic certification in ’19. Initially selling his fruit to other winemakers, Chris began making his own wines in ’06. As vigneron, he has had considerable show success for consistently outstanding wines. -JAMES HALLIDAY
