Woodside Valley Estate

The business that was established in 1998 by a small syndicate of investors headed by Peter Woods was acquired by Palinda Wines in late 2012; at the same time Palinda acquired Western Range Wines. Palinda Wines is based in Hong Kong, and is the private family company of Chinese businessman Jacky Wong. He has 150 stores in Hong Kong and mainland China selling beer, wine and spirits, and will thus act both as importer and retailer. No wines received for the 2014 Wine Companion, a five-star rating has been maintained. Exports to the UK, the US, Singapore, China and Japan. -JAMES HALLIDAY
