Our Review
The Piano Gully vineyard, established in 1987 on rich karri loam, 10km south of Manjimup (but in the Pemberton region), includes chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, viognier, shiraz and merlot. The name of the road (and the winery) commemorates the shipping of a piano from England by one of the first settlers in the region. The horse and cart carrying the piano on the last leg of the long journey were within sight of their destination when the piano fell from the cart and was destroyed. -JAMES HALLIDAY
