Abbey Creek Vineyard

This is the family-owned boutique vineyard of Mike and Mary Dilworth. The name comes from a winter creek that runs alongside the vineyard and a view of The Abbey mountain peak in the Stirling Range National Park. It is situated on the northern slopes of the Porongurup Range in the Great Southern wine region of Western Australia. The Porongurup sub-region excels in growing cool-climate grape varieties, resulting in intensely flavoured wines. The vineyard is split between pinot noir, riesling and sauvignon blanc. The rieslings have had significant show success for a number of years. -JAMES HALLIDAY
