2022 Riverlife by Oxford Landing Sun Chasing Pinot Grigio

2020 Paringa Shiraz
This wine is a dark crimson colour with a garnet hue. On the nose, an intense fresh bouquet of deep, rich and dark berry fruits, caraway seed, cedar box and spice with subtle and integrated French oak notes. The wine is bold with classic South Australian shiraz flavours of black cherries, deep plum, mulberries, quince, dark chocolate and cocoa. The flavours represent one of the finest vintages in the region. The wine is supported with supple, fine grain tannins and natural acid that creates a long and moreish finish.Winemaker Tim Whitrow says: I love how expressive and honest this wine is. It reveals an explosion of aromas and flavours that is usually seen in wines twice the price. TW. Sourced from our selected premium vineyards in South Australia, the Paringa Shiraz is made with traditional methods of winemaking such as open fermentation and extended maturation. After pressing, selected French and American oak is used to harmonise the rich fruit flavours and balance the tannin profile (rarely seen in a wine at this price point). This wine punches well above its weight in quality and craftmanship.

2021 Flying Fish Cove Chardonnay
Pale straw in colour. Complex aromas of citrus, toasted oatmeal and stone fruits are enhanced by a soft toasted vanilla and warm spicy oak nuance seen from barrel fermentation and maturation in seasoned French oak barriques. Aged on lees for six months has further enhanced a creamy, long and soft finish.Chief winemaker Simon Ding says: As a winemaker I get a great deal of pleasure from making and drinking chardonnay. We are privileged in Margaret River to work with such a great natural resource that can be nurtured into so many different guises. The 2021 is our purest expression from each vintage, and is layered and complex while retaining freshness and poise. 2020 3 Rings Shiraz
The wine is a deep blood crimson red – almost black. On the nose there are lifted aromas of black pepper, violets and plum with hints of spice, pepper, cedar box, tobacco leaf and char. The palate is rich and luscious with a deep integrated labyrinth of woven fruit and oak tannins that linger in the mouth. The vibrant fruit flavours of black cherry, quince, mulberry and ripe plum, dark chocolate and fennel are exquisite. The flavours are complemented by the extended maturation in French and American oak puncheons (500l barrels) that provide the secondary complex characters – tobacco leaf and hints of old leather to create a fine dusty finish. It is an approachable and balanced yet complex wine.Winemaker Tim Whitrow says: I love the expression and purity of the classic Barossa terroir in this wine. As soon as you pour it into a glass, aromas of black pepper, spice, sage and dark cocoa heighten the senses. The palate continues to open up as you drink, revealing complex and subtle tannins with flavours that very quickly become ever so moreish.

TW. This wine is made from the family-owned premium Barossa Valley single vineyard home block. Old school winemaking techniques are used – such as open fermentation, extended maturation and basket pressing – before it sleeps for 18 months in premium French oak puncheons for maturation. It's a very classy, structured wine that everybody can afford and enjoy.
Best enjoyed: We recommend decanting this wine, but it will also drink well from the bottle (although it will take a few moments longer to open up in the glass). Pair it with an eye fillet and some mustard on the side, mum’s lamb roast or braised kangaroo tail. It will turn a $10 hamburger into a $30 hamburger instantly.
