Our Review
Flying Fish Cove produces wines under contract for other brands, as well as making its own wines. Long-serving winemaker Simon Ding had a circuitous journey before falling prey to the lure of wine, finishing an apprenticeship in metalwork before obtaining a bachelor of wine science. He joined the Flying Fish Cove team in 2000. Most fruit for Flying Fish Cove wines is sourced from the Wildberry Farm Vineyard in Wilyabrup, planted in ’97. The winery itself is certified organic. -JAMES HALLIDAY
